Redesigning Styleonyoursubstance.com – Part 1: Rough Logo Sketches
I’ve been tempted, for a while now, to add a logo to my business. It seems like a glaring omission now. The problems is coming up with something that doesn’t look awful next to the current ID I have.
So, I’m likely to replace everything. This is about the sixth total design refresh this site has been through. One day I’ll dig them all up and show the world.
I’m still really happy with how the page looks, but It still doesn’t scream “finished” – at least not to me.
So, where do you start ? With a logo. Here’s a few rough ideas :
I’m not sure there’s anything really worthwhile in there at all. It’s really hard to tell so early in I’ve a few more ideas that I’ll eek out in coming posts. Until then I’ll be googling “typography” and listening to this song.
